Wilderness Ethics // LNT & TL!
About this event:
The team at CTCI may be focused on technology but our commitment to the community extends far beyond the reaches of technology and into the natural world as well. CTCI has partnered with Tread Lightly! and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics to help provide our community with knowledge of essential principles of wilderness ethics.
In addition to the technology skills our team has, all of our staff are also certified through Tread Lightly! and Leave No Trace. Multiple team members are also instructors and instructor trainers on these skills. Senior partner and Chief Security Office Avery Z Chipka also volunteers with Leave No Trace as the Vermont State Representative for the organization.
With Spring fast approaching there is no better time than April to come out and get a refresher on your wilderness ethic and low impact visitor skills!
Please be aware space is limited so advanced reservations are required.
This workshop is part of our community training series, where CTCI provides free of charge workshops to members of the Rutland Community on a monthly basis. To learn more about additional workshops click here.
