CTCI Provides Free CPR / AED / First Aid to Area Educators

It can take emergency personnel precious minutes to arrive on the scene. For every minute without defibrillation, a sudden cardiac arrest victim’s chance of surviving drops. It is critical for as many people as possible to be trained to perform CPR and know how to use an AED until advanced help arrives. At CTCI we believe that as an area business, the development and safety of our community is one of our primary responsibilities. Within our communities, educators are one of largest resources for developing the minds and values of our communities. As an effort to help support our area educators CTCI will be offering no-cost CPR / First Aid training to all licensed teachers within the Rutland Country School District.

CTCI CPR / AED / First Aid Courses provide hands-on instruction in performing CPR, the use of CPR, and basic First Aid Skills. This 4-hour training program exceeds OSHA Requirements and goes above and beyond the minimum standards required by the American Red Cross for Certification. All classes are conducted by instructors certified by the American Red Cross right here in our Rutland VT office. All classes are conducted at a 4:1 student to instructor ratio to ensure individualized attention.

Educators who will be teaching on a part-time or full-time basis in a Rutland County School (public or private) should contact us and speak to a member of our training team.

CTCI is proud to be an American Red Cross Authorized Provider through our Training Company TCH Acadamy. Click here for additional information on the American Red Cross. For members of the general public interested in training, CTCI will begin offering public courses in the summer of 2018 out of our Vermont office. Public courses will be posted on our event schedules when they become available. For organizations interested in private courses please contact us.
